Keep your resume at one page, do not go over one page
Keep track of every service, award, accomplishment and job
As soon as you complete a new service or start a new job, add it to your resume
When describing your role or position please use transition words and action verbs
Do not add a period when you are explaining your role or position, keep it brief
Always add your name, email address, contact information and address incase employers or whoever is reading your resume needs to contact you or send important information to your address
If it is older than five years, do not add it to your resume unless it is extremely important or you are still currently present with this job or service
Add your skills like (MicroSoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Clerical, Organizing Files, Creating Budget Sheets, CPR Certified, etc.)
Add the location and how long you have been present at this job or with this organization
Aways have someone look over your resume to see if it needs any correction
Watch out for grammatical errors
Make the font 12
Add your education especially if you are in college, make sure to add the year as well
Make your resume in order from current to previous especially jobs worked/working
